How does it work ?

Mentoring with Be.Face

Mentorship is a personalized support system based on a relationship of trust between two individuals:

  1. A mentor — an experienced professional from a company in the Be.Face network.

  2. A mentee — a student or job seeker.

The goal is to guide the mentee through their academic journey, the development of their career plan, or their professional integration — by leveraging the mentor’s skills, experience, and network.

The mentor's role

The mentor is a committed professional who shares their experience and advice to help the mentee find direction in their career.
They support the mentee’s reflection, offer an external perspective on their approach, and encourage them to grow their network.
The mentor’s role is to listen, advise, challenge, and motivate the mentee throughout the process.

Duration and meeting location

The duo commits to meeting once or twice a month for a period of 6 months to 1 year, depending on whether the mentee is a student or a job seeker.
Since human connection is at the heart of mentorship, in-person meetings — usually held at the mentor's workplace — are encouraged to strengthen the sense of commitment and trust.

The mentee's role

The mentee is someone looking for guidance on academic and/or professional choices, seeking structured support and confidence in shaping their project.
Their role is to be an active actor in their own development by engaging fully in conversations with their mentor, applying the advice received, and adapting their actions based on feedback.

Follow-up

Throughout the mentoring period, mentor and mentee form a duo that grows together — with ongoing support from the Be.Face project coordinator.

Workshops

In collaboration with our partner companies, the Be.Face team designs and coordinates a full agenda of workshops for our mentees.

Why participate in our workshops ?

  • Led by professionals and experts on topics that are highly relevant to students and job seekers (LinkedIn profile building, CV writing, job interview simulations, employment contracts, etc.)

  • Specifically designed to develop non-academic skills (professional networking essentials, self-awareness, self-confidence, etc.)

  • A great opportunity to connect and network with other mentees

  • Lasting from two hours to half a day, workshops often conclude with a relaxed networking session with employees from the host company

For whom?

Our workshops are free and exclusively reserved for our mentees. They are developed in collaboration with our corporate partners.
